Group Coaching Skills for Health and Care Professionals
Upcoming Dates
Develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to facilitate effective group-based interventions.
As health and care services increasingly use group consultations, education sessions and behaviour change interventions, practitioners need more than strong one-to-one coaching skills. Working with groups requires a different set of capabilities, including facilitation, managing group dynamics, encouraging participation and creating purposeful learning environments.
This practical group coaching training programme is designed for health and care professionals who already use coaching skills and want to apply them more effectively in group settings. Participants explore how to structure and facilitate group interventions that support engagement, peer learning, self-management and behaviour change.
Participants will develop:
• Confidence planning and facilitating group interventions
• Practical skills for encouraging participation and peer learning
• Understanding of group dynamics and group roles
• Approaches for managing challenge and difficult situations
• Skills for group goal setting and evaluation
• Confidence delivering groups online and face to face
Through practical application and discussion of real-world challenges, participants learn how to design and deliver group interventions that are engaging, purposeful and effective across a range of health and care settings.
